MARTINSVILLE — All aboard the annual train display at KeyBank in Martinsville, where resident Dan Goins is enjoying his 34th year in a row of wowing visitors with his expansive display.
He’s been doing it so long, in fact, that he’s now had three generations of the same families stop by for a visit each year.
“I’ve got kids that come — I’ve watched them grow up,” said Goins, adding that some of them, now in college, will still come back to see the train when they return home on Christmas break. “It happens over and over and over again.”
Goins’ setup measures about 10 feet by 20 feet and includes dual locomotives pulling their loads in opposite directions on the oval-shaped parallel tracks.
