MARTINSVILLE — The location of Martinsville’s new elementary school has finally been made known.
Last Friday, the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville finalized the purchase of about 20 acres of land just south of River Valley Church near the Henderson Ford exit of I-69 where it intends to build a new elementary school.
This comes just a day after the MSD school board voted to partner with private contractor GM Development to construct the new school and natatorium.
