NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED RATES AND CHARGES OF THE TOWN OF MONROVIA, INDIANA SEWAGE WORKS UTILITY

 

Property owners, ratepayers and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the sewage works of the Town of Monrovia, Indiana are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Town Council of the Town, at the Monrovia Government Center, 60 S. Marley Way, Monrovia Indiana 46157, commencing at 6:30 p.m. on July 22, 2025. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an increase in the monthly sewage rates for the users of the Town sewage. At the hearing, interested persons may be heard concerning the sewage rates and charges. The proposed ordinance, which was introduced by the Town Council at its last meeting, will be effective after adoption and implemented as soon as practicable. The schedule of rates and charges is attached as Appendix A. The complete text of the proposed ordinance is available for examination and copying at the office of the Town Manager at the Government Center of the Town of Monrovia 60 S. Marley Way, Monrovia, Indiana 46157 during normal business hours and will be available at the public hearing.

All other rates and charges of the Monrovia Sewage Works will remain unchanged.

 

On July 22, 2025, the Town Council shall consider, and may take action on, the proposed ordinance.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

This is to inform you that the Morgan County Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Morgan County Administration Building located at 180 S. Main Street, Martinsville, Indiana to consider petition RP-25-06. 

This petition, submitted by Jesse and Leianne Hull, seeks approval to vacate Lot 2 of the Kirkley Minor Plat and then replat it as two lots. The subject property is located at 1710 Lincoln Hill Road in Washington Township, Morgan County, Indiana and is more particularly described as follows:

Lot Number Two (2) in Kirkley Minor Plat, a minor plat located in the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 12 North, Range 1 East, located in Washington Township, as per plat thereof recorded April 3,2002, as instrument #20205987 in the Office of the Recorder of Morgan County, Indiana.

OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA ON PRELIMINARY

DESIGNATION OF ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA

AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT – OVERTON & SONS TOOL & DIE CO., INC.

 

The Town Council of the Town of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana (the “Town Council”) will conduct a public hearing on August 5, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. (Local Time) at the Mooresville Town Hall, located at 4 East Harrison Street, Mooresville, Indiana 46158, to consider confirmation of the Declaratory Resolution No.13- 2025 (the “Declaratory Resolution”) adopted by the Town Council on June 17, 2025, which preliminarily approved an economic revitalization area and personal property tax abatement, under the provisions of Indiana Code Sections 6-1.1-12.1-1 et. seq. The Declaratory Resolution has been adopted by the Town Council pursuant to Indiana Code Section 6-1.1-12.1-2.5 subject to a public hearing, after which the Town Council will consider adoption of a confirmatory resolution. The property is located at 1250 Old State Road 67 South, Mooresville, IN 46158. 

 

A description of the affected property is available and can be inspected at the offices of the Morgan County Assessor, located at 180 S. Main Street, Suite 218, Martinsville, IN  46151, during regular business hours. The proposed confirmatory resolution can also be inspected at the same location.  

At the public hearing, the Town Council will receive and hear comments, remonstrances and objections from interested persons concerning the proposed confirmatory resolution.
