‘There may be more victims’

MORGAN COUNTY — During a press conference last Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 22, Morgan County Prosecutor Steve Sonnega asked the media for their help in locating more witnesses and potential victims of Brian and Sonja Stafford.
The former Morgan County couple is facing more that 110 combined charges for child molesting, child neglect, domestic battery, obstruction of justice, and promoting human trafficking.
The couple, who formally divorced in late 2024, have been living in different locations.
At the time charges were filed, investigators had identified 11 possible victims in a case involving allegations that began in 2011.
