MOORESVILLE — Travis Green did so much more than deliver mail. He delivered jokes and smiles. He delivered as a golf partner. He delivered as a son and brother. As an exhibitor of his collectibles at the local library. As a never-missed-work colleague at the Mooresville Post Office. As a St. Louis Cardinals supporter and an Electric Light Orchestra follower who ventured to a bunch of concerts last year. As a Coca-Cola memorabilia fan, a dedicated Scrabble player and a big Halloween celebrator. As one who loved roller coasters and dragged friends along to join him on the ups and downs. As a grammarian and spelling master who politely corrected others’ miscues.
