Township board vacancy

Due to the vacancy on the Brown Township Advisory Board, this is to advise you that per Indiana Code IC 3-13-11-3 and IC-3-13-11-4, the Republican County Chairman will call a caucus to fill the vacancy. There will also be a vote to fill the ballot vacancy for the November 2026 election.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Martinsville Plan Commission at City Hall, 59 South Jefferson Street, Martinsville, Indiana 46151 on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. local time upon the application of Forestar (USA) Real Estate Group for a primary plat approval for the Maple Hills single-family residential subdivision. The subdivision is located on the south side of State Road 44, east of interstate 69. The proposed subdivision will consist of 159 lots with a minimum lot size of 6,500 square feet on the property located at SR 252 Martinsville, Indiana 46151 (Approx.
