NOTICE OF DETERMINATION
Pursuant to Indiana Code § 6-1.1-20-5, notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation has preliminarily determined to enter into an amendment to lease and issue bonds in one or more series of bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $5,500,000 to fund the refinancing of the Mooresville Consolidated School Building Corporation’s Ad Valorem Property Tax First Mortgage Bonds, Series 2019.

2026 Morgan County Fall Local Paving Project
Scope of work: Bituminous asphalt resurfacing and related construction of approximately 10 miles of various roads in Morgan County as more fully set forth in the Contact Documents. The roads are split into different groups based on geographical location. A separate award for each group will be made based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid for each group. Each group has a individually set completion date. Work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractors shall comply with all requirements of IC-5-16-13.

- Replacement of the existing lift station access hatch.

- Erosion-control measures and restoration of the project site upon completion.

REQUEST FOR BIDS
Monroe-Gregg School District is requesting bids for the rental of farm ground located directly east of the Monrovia High School football field described as follows:
Part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter and part of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 1 West, Morgan County, Indiana, being an original description of a 20.000 acre parcel, as prepared by John J. Larrison, Indiana Professional Surveyor Number 20000230 (Holloway Engineering Job Number 119007) described as follows:
Commencing at a 4-inch iron pin, with cap engraved “Morgan County Surveyor”, set over a stone which, per county records, marks the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the above captioned Section 12; thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 26 seconds West(bearing of the north line of the Southeast Quarter, based upon Indiana State Plane, West Zone, Coordinate System N.A.D. 1983), with said north line, 2197.37 feet to an iron survey nail with washer engraved “Holloway Eng. – Firm 46′′ in the county road, and the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel herein described; thence South no degrees 37 minutes 32 seconds East, parallel with the east line of the Southeast Quarter, 1557.60 feet to an iron pin with cap engraved “Holloway Engr. Firm 46”; thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 26 seconds West, into the above captioned East Half of the Southwest Quarter, 559.38 feet to an iron pin with cap engraved “Holloway Engr. Firm 46“; thence North no degrees 37 minutes 32 seconds West, 1557.60 feet to an iron survey nail with washer engraved “Holloway Engr. Containing 20.000 acres, more or less.
The bid proposal should be in a lump sum amount to rent the 20 acre parcel for farming purposes only for the crop year of 2027.

Main Street, Martinsville, IN 46151.

Notice of Determination
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Brown Township, Morgan County, Indiana, that at a special meeting held on
September 15,2026 at 5:00 p.m., at 471 N. Samuel Moore Parkway, Mooresville, Indiana, the Township Board met to consider the need to incur debt for a new Ambulance body and chassis for Brown Township.
After considering all evidence and factors, the Board DID determine there is a need for the debt, not to exceed $400,000 to purchase said Ambulance for the use of Brown Township Fire and Emergency Services. The term of the loan will not exceed three (3) years to be paid from the Fire Equipment Bond Fund in semi- annual payments beginning July 1, 2027.
Ten (10) or more taxpayers who disagree with the Township Board’s determination to incur the debt may file a petition with the County Auditor within thirty (30) days of the date of the publication of this notice. The petition must state their objections and the reasons why they believe the Township Board’s special order is unnecessary or unwise.
If a petition is filed, the County Auditor shall immediately file a copy of the petition and other data necessary to present the questions involved to the Department of Local Government Finance. Upon receipt of a petition, the Department will set a date and time for a hearing not less than five (5) days nor more than thirty (30) days after receipt of certified documents from the County Auditor. If a hearing is required, the Department will give notice by mail to the Township and first ten (10) taxpayer petitioners at the taxpayer’s usual place of residence at least five (5) before the date of the public hearing.
