NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Martinsville Plan Commission at City Hall, 59 S. Jefferson St., Martinsville, Indiana 46151 on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. local time upon the application of Forestar (USA) Real Estate Group for a change in the zoning district from AG – Agricultural to PUD-R Planned Unit Development – Residential. The Maple Hills PUD proposes 159 single-family lots with a minimum lot size of 6,500 square feet on the property located at SR 252 Martinsville, IN 46151 (Approx. Address), being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: See legal description attached as Exhibit A. 

 

The complete application and file for this application is available for public inspection fifteen (15) days prior to hearing date, during regular working hours, at the Planning and Building Department, 59 S. Jefferson St., Martinsville, Indiana 46151.

 

Interested persons appearing in favor of or in opposition to the application will be heard thereon by the Board.

This is to inform you that the Morgan County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public  hearing on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the Morgan County Administration  Building located at 180 S. Main Street, Martinsville, Indiana to consider a petition submitted by Jason Soladine. 

Petition U-26-07 is seeking approval for a use variance to establish a food truck storage  and operations business in an AG zoning district. The subject property is located at  10612 N. Mann Road in Madison Township, Morgan County, Indiana and is more  particularly described as follows:
